We spend a lot of time choosing what lives here. Tools, books, cards, and curios that support real practice and real curiosity. Our full self-service apothecary holds well over a hundred organic herbs and curios to scoop, smell, and explore. Crystals and gemstones are selected carefully, with an eye toward sourcing, energy, and how they feel in the hand.
You’ll find jewelry, crystals, candles, magickal tools, decor, incense, and more. The goal is not to overwhelm you, but to give you enough to discover what actually calls to you when you take your time.
Our Crystals
Since opening our brick and mortar in 2022, we’ve focused on curating stones with traceable, thoughtful sourcing rather than endless volume. Crystals can easily become another form of mass consumerism, and ethical options are harder to find than they should be. So we move slowly. We buy in smaller batches. We work with family owned mines and trusted suppliers.
You’ll see pieces for many budgets. Tumbled stones. Raw points. Clusters. A few special specimens that stand out. As you walk the crystal gallery, you’ll find simple information cards tucked between them, sharing folklore, traditional uses, or practical notes. Some people come in looking for emotional support, spiritual connection, or a stone for their altar. Others just want to hold something that came out of the earth and feel its weight.
Nothing here is meant to impress you with scale. It is meant to feel honest. Take your time and see what actually feels right in your hand.
The Jewelry Gallery
The jewelry gallery at Folklore is a collaboration between several makers who all treat adornment as something meaningful. You’ll find work by Folklore’s owner alongside pieces from Bohemian Funk, Wyllt, and Jerica Motley. Each has a distinct style, but they all share the same love of craft and detail.
Every piece that lines the walls holds a purpose and a handmade touch. Sterling and mixed metals. Gemstones set like small worlds. Bone, moss, and botanical elements sealed into tiny, wearable shrines. Visitors are encouraged to move slowly, to look at each piece as both ornament and talisman. Often the right one has a way of catching your eye more than once.
Materials are chosen with care for longevity and comfort, using hypoallergenic options wherever possible. Instead of rows of identical items, you’ll see small runs and one of a kind pieces, each one carrying the story and skill of the maker who brought it into being.
Our Candles
Our candle shelves hold a mix of hand-poured soy candles, fixed seven-day jars, and magickal figure candles made for specific intent. In-house blends use pure soy wax for a cleaner burn and are scented with essential oils, botanical accords, and fragrance oils that are free from phthalates, parabens, and other harsh additives.
Some candles are created for ritual work. Some are for quiet evenings and soft lighting. All of them are poured and dressed with attention so they feel like tools and companions rather than just decor. You can choose by scent, by color, by purpose, or simply by what you feel drawn to in the moment.
Our Oils
Our conjure oils are crafted in-house and given time to become themselves. Herbs, roots, resins, and fragrance are blended into almond and sunflower oil, then left to steep slowly so every note has a chance to unfold. Timing matters. Ingredients matter. The way the bottle is handled matters. Nothing is rushed. Each oil is created with intention from start to finish.
These blends serve many purposes. Wear them as personal scent. Dress candles, petitions, charms, and tools. Add a few drops to a bath or apply to pulse points during ritual, meditation, or daily grounding. They sit close to the skin and shift with your body heat, working with your energy rather than overpowering it. It is a subtle kind of magick, the kind that lingers.
Alongside our house-made blends, we carry a carefully selected range of oils from perfumers and makers who share our respect for tradition and craft. Prabhuji’s Gifts formulates attars and devotional scents according to ancient Vedic principles, using traditional Ayurvedic techniques to create oils meant for spiritual intention as much as aroma. Nemat International, a family-owned perfumery with roots stretching back more than 170 years in India, preserves the art of steam-distilled attar making and produces oil-based perfumes known for their purity, depth, and skin affinity.

OUR APOTHECARY
Our herbal apothecary features over a hundred herbs curated for both everyday wellness and spiritual work. You’ll find familiar plants like lemongrass, chamomile, and rose, alongside roots and botanicals such as orris, devil’s claw, and High John. Many are organically sourced or ethically wildcrafted. All are chosen with care.
Shelves of jars line the space, inviting you to scoop and smell as you imagine teas, sachets, spell blends, bath soaks, and incense. The apothecary is meant to feel like a bridge between traditional herbal knowledge and your own practice, whether you are just beginning or have been working with herbs for years.
We also offer house made organic tea blends that draw on the properties of our herbs to support rest, clarity, comfort, and ritual. In addition, you’ll find oxymels and herbal products from makers we trust, combining raw apple cider vinegar, honey, and botanicals into time honored remedies for digestion, immunity, and vitality.
